The Allen-Bradley 1771-RT41 panel is a remote termination panel which can be used with Allen-Bradley 1771-N series high-resolution isolated analog I/O modules. It is connected to the analog I/O modules through an Allen-Bradley 1771-NC6 (6 feet) or 1771-NC15 (15 feet) cable. All of the input/output wiring connects to the field-wiring connectors on the remote terminal panel. The 1771-RT41 remote termination panel is a 4-channel block with cold junction compensation for thermocouples. It can be mounted on standard DIN 3 or Din 1 mounting rails. Because the 1771-RT41 remote termination panel is a 4-channel block, 1 cable is required to connect it with a 4-channel module.
The 1771-RT41 remote termination panel is recommended for use with the Allen-Bradley 1771-NB4T module which has 2 inputs and 2 outputs and draws 1 Amp of current and 5 Watts of power from the chassis backplane. The working and storage temperature ranges for the 1771-NB4T module and the 1771-RT41 remote termination panel are 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and -40 to 85 degrees Celsius, respectively. The operating and non-operating relative humidity requirements for the 1771-NB4T module and the 1771-RT41 remote termination panel are 5 to 95% and 5 to 80%, respectively. The two outputs on the 1771-NB4T module can deliver 0 to 25 milliamps of current. The 2 inputs on the 1771-NB4T module accept ±100 millivolts rated thermocouple inputs. The input impedance is greater than 10 megaohms. The input overvoltage protection is rated at 140 Volts AC RMS continuous. The normal mode rejection is 50 dB or 60 dB and the typical common-mode rejection is 150 dB. The 1771-NB4T remote termination panel is compliant with the IPTS-68 standard and the NBS MS-125 standard for thermocouple linearization.
