The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1771-WB field wiring arm has been designed and manufactured as part of the PLC 5 series. It is the field wiring arm for the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1771-QA stepper motor positioning assembly. A complete 1771-QA stepper motor positioning assembly includes the 1771-WB field wiring arm, a stepper controller module, and an output expander module. This wiring arm can support 8 I/O modules at a time. The 1771-WB field wiring arm does not need an external power supply and it is often used in analog applications.

The Allen-Bradley 1771-WB is a PLC-5 field wiring arm for the analog I/O module. It has 12 terminals available that have gold contact plating and can support up to 8 I/O points and it uses a thermoplastic material. This conformally-coated wiring arm is typically used for analog applications and does not require an external power source. It also helps ensure the connection integrity in the system, as well as provide easy and flexible interconnections between the Allen-Bradley 1771 I/O modules and the plant wiring. Note that you can directly clamp or spade lug an AWG 14 wire to the 1771-WB wiring arm. It has dimensions of 4.5 x 12.4 x 6.3 inches and a weight of 0.1 lbs.
