The 1771-WC field wiring arm is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation to be used with the 1771-OFE analog output module. It is available from the Allen-Bradley PLC 5 series and the Bulletin 1771 product line. The 1771-WC field wiring arm is made to be used with TTL low current I/O modules like the 1771-OFE analog output module. This wiring arm is protected from caustic chemicals and from different kinds of moisture by a conformal coating. The 1771-WC field wiring arm can operate without an external power source.

The Allen-Bradley 1771-WC is a PLC-5 wiring arm for TTL low current I/O modules. It uses a thermoplastic material and has 8 I/O points and 10 terminals available. Note that these terminals are all gold-plated. This wiring arm primarily helps in ensuring the connection's integrity and it provides an easy and flexible interconnection between the Allen-Bradley I/O modules specifically 1771 modules and plant wiring. Wires such as the AWG 14 can be spade-lugged or directly clamped to this wiring arm. Note that the 1771-WC wiring arm has a conformal coating and does not require an external power source.
