The 1771-sc-IMI16 by Allen-Bradley is an input/output adapter module that defines how a programmable system controller works. This product uses ControlNet and DeviceNet for interfacing between 1 or more remote systems with the RS-232 and RS-485 as the different communication standards. The 1771 ASB I/O can be used with a PLC-5 device when installation is required in remote locations.
