The 1784-KTCX ControlNet Communication Interface Card by Allen-Bradley is an electronic device which allows a 16-bit ISA- or 32-bit EISA-compatible computer to communicate directly with Allen-Bradley (AB) ControlNet Devices. The module has a Network Access Port (NAP) with an RJ-45 connector for connecting programming terminals to the devices on the ControlNet network, using the 1786-CP cable with RJ-45 8-pin connector and it also has 2 redundancy media BNC connectors (channel A and channel B) for direct connection to the ControlNet network. The 1784-KTCX has a functional temperature range between 0 and 50° C (32 and 122° F) and is stored between – 40 and 85 °C (–40 and 185° F) non-operational temperature at 5-95% non-condensing humidity limits. The 1784-KTCX is built to withstand an operational shock of 30G (peak/11ms) and a constant vibration of 2G at 10-150Hz, and it can also maintain a non-operational shock of 50G. It is CE-marked for all applicable directives and is UL and CSA-certified.
