It is 0.61 meters in length and it is mainly used to connect to a DeviceNet network by using a USB port on a personal computer. The cable comes with control indicators for the module, USB, and the network status. The cable comes with an IP 20 protection rating and it is not water resistant. The host interface of the cable is the USB interface. It has 1 open style male 5-pin phoenix connector. The 1784-U2DN cable is certified with the C-Tick, CE, KC, and UL standards. The 1784-U2DN cable comes with a status indicator which is a blue and red LED. It shows the network activity, module status, self-test, and the standby mode status. The environmental temperature should not exceed 55 degrees Celsius for the cable. The enclosure of the cable meets the IP 30 protection rating. It consumes 0.5 Watts of power. The USB voltage supply is 5 Volts DC at 75 milliamps and the DeviceNet power supply is 24 Volts DC at 75 milliamps.
