The PLC-5-12 processor module has been manufactured by Allen-Bradley in the PLC 5 series. It operates with a backplane current rating of 2.5 Amps at 5 Volts DC. The PLC-5-12 processor module's communication channels are a Remote I/O channel and a DH+ channel. It can support up to 256 analog I/O and up to 512 total I/O. The PLC-5-12 processor module does not support removal and insertion under power and so it should not be installed, removed, or given maintenance while it is connected to power, especially in hazardous environments.

The Allen-Bradley PLC-5-12 is a PLC 5 Processor module. This module has 512 Maximum Total I/O. This module comes with a DH+ Channel and a Remote I/O Channel. The DH+ connection supports remote programming and information access. The Remote I/O Transmission rate of this module is 57.6 kbps. The maximum user memory words of this module is 6K. The Backplane current of this module is 2.5 A at 5V DC. This module has a Control Coprocessor Expansion Port. This module offers a control strategy. This module has hardware selection, layout, and an addressing feature. This module comes with a sequential function chart (SFC) and special programming features. In using this module, you can also develop your program, enter your program, and test it.
