The PLC-5-80C (1785-L80C) ControlNet Programmable Controller by Allen-Bradley is a 100K word programmable controller installed on the 1771 I/O chassis which directs the processes of field devices and has a maximum I/O capacity of 3072. The module requires a backplane current of 3.3A at 5V DC and it has a maximum heat dissipation of 59 BTU/hour when operational. The controller is designed to function without de-rating at a temperature range between 0 and 60 ^oC (32 and 140 ^oF) at a relative humidity range of 5-95% without condensation and it is IEC-tested and rated to withstand 2G of operational vibration at 10-500Hz and a 30G operational shock. The PLC-5-80C supports the use of the ControlNet hot backup cartridge (1785-CHBM), a battery module (1770-XYC), and a battery-backed memory module (either 1785-ME32, 1785-ME64 or 1785-M100).
