This POINT I/O Terminal Base Assembly, the 1734-TBS, by Allen-Bradley, belongs to the POINT I/O system that is part of a distributed I/O system automation series that attempts to bring modules closer to their field devices. The 1734-TBS helps in expanding the usability of this system by keeping its dimensions compact and providing it with removable terminal parts;  this wiring terminal has a Removable Terminal Block (RTB) with eight (8) terminal spring-clamps for wire termination. Put the base just above previously inserted modules, then sliding it down to snap onto a DIN-rail and make a connection to an adjacent module.
