This Point I/O System Box by Allen Bradley (1734-TBSQ10) contains 10 Terminal Base Assemblies corresponding to the number 1734-TBS. Part of the assembly includes eight separate terminal wiring locations and RTBs (Removable Terminal Blocks), making it handy when a large number of I/O modules are needed; it can be mounted either vertically or horizontally on the DIN rail, and on the backplane of this assembly, POINTBus communication and power lines are installed. Every single terminal base assembly offers a mechanical key for correct installation of an I/O module, all of which can be installed seamlessly without tools. The 10 exact same parts contained in the 1734-TBSQ10 come with a mounting base, RTB, an  RTB handle, a locking screw, interlocking pieces on its sides, and a mechanical key. The RTB code for single terminal base assembly (in the case of replacement) is 1734-RTBS.

This 1734-TBSQ10 terminal base assembly measures 65 x 120 x 160 millimeters, (2.56 x 4.72 x 6.25 inches), weighs 870 grams (307 ounces) and runs on a supply voltage of 300 Volts at its maximum. It has a wire size of 0.34 to 2.1 millimeters (22 to 14 AWG), a field power bus supply of 28.8 Volts DC and 120 to 240 Volts AC and a maximum current of 10A.

Vertically position the base over pre-existing modules mounted on the DIN rail to begin the installation process. To connect to the adjacent unit and interlock, slide the base lower. Finally, pressing tightly on the base will cause it to snap into place. Complete a quick check to ensure that the locking screw remains in a horizontal position (meaning it is locked), before beginning the process of installing a different I/O module. Then place the mechanical key into the position that is assigned to the I/O module to be used in order to prevent the installation of the wrong module. To remove the RTB, use the provided handle. This prevents the full rewiring of the base when being changed.

The POINT I/O system with DIN-rail grounding is the system on which this part is installed. The connection of single terminal pins should be completed with consideration of the I/O modules that will be mounted on the assembly. Do not wire together more than 2 conductors on each pin.
