The parameters for the 1404-M505A-RIO module should be configured so that the RIO rack address in the scanner module is in the range of 0 to 63 decimal values and the default value is 1, and so that the RIO group number corresponds to the quarter rack in the range of 0, 2, 4, or 6 and the default value is 0. In the PLC-2 base system, set the RIO last rack to the highest-numbered group/lack on the channel in the range of 0 to 1 and the default setting is 0. Lastly, configure the Allen-Bradley 1404-M505A-RIO module's RIO communication rate to 230 Kbps, 115 Kbps, or 57.6 Kbps, and the default setting is 57.6 Kbps.
