The Allen-Bradley 22DJ9-4000 photoelectric time delay control module offers time delay capabilities for both on to off and off to on delays. It is used with Photoswitch devices with pulsed LEDs, and it prevents ambient light from affecting the module. It has a response time for voltage output of 0.001 seconds, a time range for the on delay with rated accuracy of 0.5 to 10 seconds, a recycle time for the on delay of 0.1 seconds, a time range for the off delay with rated accuracy between 0.5 and 15 seconds, a recycle time for the off delay at 0.1 seconds, and relay output at 0.025 seconds with the time delays set to 0. The Allen-Bradley 22DJ9-4000 photoelectric time delay control module has a reflected beam, transmitted beam control, and reflex scanning modes for presence sensing. The time delay control module is designed to operate with both the universal control bases in Series 3000 and the LED control bases in Series 4000.
The Allen-Bradley 22DJ9-4000 photoelectric time delay control module has a synchronous detection circuit, solid-state logic outputs or a DPDT relay, and several sensor combinations which can be linked with an adapter for AND (series) logic or for OR (parallel) logic. It has an energized operation mode selection for either light (“light energized”) operation or dark (“dark energized”) operation. It has a time repeatability rating of -/+ 1% for constant volts and temperature ratings. Additionally, it has a time delay variation not exceeding 20% with a temperature ranging from -40 to 57 degrees Celsius (-40 to 135 degrees Fahrenheit). With a line voltage between 102 and 132 Volts, the time delay variation does not exceed 10%. It has an ambient operating temperature range of -40 to 57 degrees Celsius.
