The Allen-Bradley 931N-C141 analog signal converter is a signal conditioner device that belongs to the 931 Nano series of Allen-Bradley signal conditioners. It has high galvanic isolation rating of 2.5 kilovolts AC, high accuracy, and fast response time for all the analog signals. Its compact design allows for easy configuration without any tools and it has an interactive local display. Level sensors, thermocouples, frequency sensors, and bridge circuits are some of the measurement instruments that can be interfaced with this device. This signal conditioner is UL/CSA, DNV-GL, KC, and RCM certified to meet a variety of industrial requirements. The 931N-C141 analog signal converter's most important functions are to perform data transmissions accurately and more efficiently. It does this my isolation, signal linearization, and signal amplification.

The 931N-C141 analog signal converter has 2-way galvanic isolation and eliminates the noises and ground loops to provide an accurate signal. It is powered by the input measuring circuit. This NAMUR NE43 and NE21 compliant analog signal converter ensure top signal measurement performance. The inputs, outputs, and auxiliary power supply are electrically separated from each other. The input frequency and cutoff frequency of the device are 100 Hertz and the step response time is less than 5 milliseconds. The 931N-C141 converter can improve the processes measurement signal quality to transmit the data accurately between the field devices and the control system. It reproduces and galvanically isolates the signal via the principle of transformer coupling. The signal amplification is achieved by increasing the resolution of the input and increasing the signal to noise ratio. This cost-effective transmission method ensures process efficiency in an industrial environment. Some of the common applications of the signal conditioner are chemical processing, energy, and power plant applications. It can be used in industrial applications that use a wide variety of sensors to perform measurements.
