The Allen-Bradley 1783-US7T1H is a Stratix 2000 unmanaged Ethernet switch. It has a total of 8 ports available, 7 fast Ethernet RJ45 ports and 1 fast Ethernet single-mode preinstalled fiber SFP module SFP port. Note that this switch does not ship with any SFP module and you have to buy those modules separately. This switch comes with broadcast storm thresholds of 20 packets per second for 10 Mbps per port and 200 packets per second for 100 Mbps per port. Yellow/green status indicators, with a blink rate of 105 ms, are present with this switch and these let you know the current state of the port speed, power supply, and network. The 1783-US7T1H switch uses an open-type enclosure and it measures 4.5 x 3.02 x 1.8 inches. This Series B switch comes with a power input of 24V (12-48V DC, 18-30V AC, 50-60Hz), SELV. For a DC power connection, you need a 4 to 0.25 mm2 (12 to 24 AWG) twisted-pair copper wire that is also suitable for 86 ËšC above the ambient temperature outside the enclosure. The 1783-US7T1H comes with a non-condensing relative humidity of 5-95%, has an operating temperature of -40-75 ËšC and a storage temperature of -40-85 ËšC. This switch also has maximum ambient air temperatures of 75 ËšC. Operating vibration is 2 g at 10-500 Hz and the shock is 15 g when operating and 30 g when not in operation.
