It is used for transmitting and receiving communication data by using a combined radio transmitter and receiver. It is a 1000 Base LX/LH single mode fiber device and it is part of the Allen-Bradley Stratix 8000/83000 series. It works properly within a 10-kilometer range. It comes with 1 GB of memory.
