The 6186-M17ALTR VersaView 1700M by Allen-Bradley is a rugged industrial monitor with a unique LCD screen and the capacity to visualize, control, and maintain applications when used with any of the Allen-Bradley non-display industrial computers. The LCD is a 17-inch active-matrix resistive touchscreen with dimensions of 13.3in x 10.7in. Its display resolution is 1280 x 1024 with 16.7M color graphics in native mode with a display contrast of 450:1, and a display luminance of 260 cd/m2 (Nits). The 6186-M17ALTR has a CCT backlight with 50,000 hours of half-life at ½ display brightness, and it is domed with an aluminum bezel. It provides Video input signal via the Digital DVI and the Analog (VGA) input, and it comes with the HD-15 and DVI ports for video interface.

The 6186-M17ALTR has OSD control options for Automatic Screen Setup and for adjusting the Brightness, Contrast, Horizontal/Vertical Position, Image Lock, Color Balance, and Video Information, and for powering the monitor on and off. It can be mounted by using the Vesa, Panel, Rack, Bench, Tabletop, or the Wall mounting options. The monitor has 90-264V AC (auto-ranging) input voltage from an external power supply, and it consumed approximately 36W (max.) when operational. Its working temperature ranges between 32-122 °F, at 10-90% non-condensing relative humidity range, and it can be stored at a -4-140 °F temperature range. The 6186-M17ALTR is enclosed with a NEMA Type 12, 4, and 4X-rated enclosure is built to withstand 20G and 2G of operational shock and vibration respectively at 10-640Hz. It is C-TICK, UL, CE, and c-UL certified, and weighs around 10kg (22.01lb), and it measures 14.02in x 17.8in x 2.16in.
