The Allen-Bradley 6186-M20ALTR is an Allen-Bradley industrial monitor that features the largest screen among the 6186 product bulletin. This VersaView industrial monitor is specifically part of the 2000M product category which provides visualization to non-display computers and devices with video signal output.

The 6186-M20ALTR is an industrial grade monitor. Compared to commercially available monitors. The 6186-M20ALTR is especially designed for use in industrial applications and supports mounting methods such as Panel, Rack, Bench and Tabletop installation which non-industrial monitors typically do not support.

The 6186-M20ALTR features the largest screen size among the VersaView industrial monitors. It features 20’ inches Color Active Matrix TFT with resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels and supports 16.7 million colors. It is installed with a backlight that is made of Cold Cathode Tubes (CCT) 6 bulbs with an expected lifespan of 60,000 hours to half-life. The installed backlight has an output luminance of 250 cd/m2 (Nits) and contrast ration of 500:1. The screen hosts the resistive touchscreen operator input interface. The touch interface may be calibrated during the course of operation of this industrial monitor.

The 6186-M20ALTR is powered by an input voltage supply of 90-264VAC with frequency of 47-63Hz. It has a maximum power consumption of 58 Watts. To achieve protection rating of NEMA Type 1/12/13/4/4X, IP65, this monitor must be mounted to an enclosure with similar protection rating.

This industrial monitor accepts power from an external voltage source of 90 and 264 Volts AC, and line frequency between 47 and 63 Hertz. On AC voltage it consumes around 58 Watts maximum of power. The 6186-M20ALTR module should not be stored in a temperature that exceeds 140 degrees Fahrenheit or drops lower than -4. Similarly, while operating, temperatures over 122 degrees Fahrenheit and lower than 32 can pose significant function delay and damage. The acceptable humidity level for this unit is between 10 and 90%, to be without condensation. Its ratings include a NEMA Type 1/12/13/4/4X IP64 rating, and it is recognized and certified by the UL, Class I Division 2, and the C-UL, as well as being CE marked. The 6186-M20ALTR operating vibration is 0.015 inches p-p (10 to 53 Hertz). Its storage operation is about 2.0 g peak, 53 to 640 Hertz.
