The 6181P-15C2SW71DC, manufactured by Allen-Bradley, originates from Versaview 1500P product line. This Versaview terminal has a 15-inch color display and a resistive touchscreen input type.  It also features several communication ports, which include 1 parallel port, 2 serial ports, and 2 Ethernet ports. This module operates on 18 to 32 Volts of DC input power. It exhibits an Intel i3-4102E processor type and has a panel mounting option. This module has a watchdog timer service and a hardware monitor utility, which can easily be enabled and installed by the operator. The watchdog timer is designed to watch the system and cause the system to reboot of it hangs due to a program error or system malfunction.

During installation, electrical safety should be ensured before proceeding. This can be accomplished by plugging the power source into a grounded outlet. In addition, the 6181P-15C2SW71DC module should not be powered in dry environments, since this could cause a build-up of electric charges.
