6181P-17NSXP

The 6181P-17NSXP module is an industrial integrated-display computer belonging to the Versa View 1700P product line from Allen-Bradley. This specific model is a “standard” package device. The 6181P-17NSXP ships with the following items: panel mounting clips, an AC power cord (for AC models), a ground bus strip, a panel cutout template, installation instructions, a production test report and an accessory CD (with cloning utility).

The 6181P-17NSXP’s display size is 17 inches. It is an active matrix color TFT display with native resolution of 1280 x 1024 and graphics in 16.7M colors. The 6181P-17NSXP’s processor is an Intel Celeron M423 processor that operates at 1.06 GHz with a 1M L2 cache operating at 533 MHz and it consumes 5.5 W of power. The 6181P-17NSXP system memory slots are as follows: a dual channel DDR2 slot, 2 DIMM slots supporting a maximum of 4 GB. The system comes with 2 GB memory installed. The 6181P-17NSXP uses a lithium battery that will need to be replaced during the computer’s lifetime. The battery powers the 6181P-17NSXP’s nonvolatile memory so that it will retain the system information when the computer’s power is switched off and the battery is located next to the DIMM1 slot. Depending upon the duration of time that the computer is on per week, the lifetime of the battery varies from four to seven-and-a-half years.

The 6181P-17NSXP’s enclosure ratings are NEMA Type 1, 12, 4, and IEC IP66 (these type ratings only apply when the computer is properly mounted in an equivalent enclosure on a flat and level surface).
