The Allen-Bradley 6181P-19B3HW71DC has up to three UIB status indicators on the front panel. These status indicators ensure a quick view of the status of the computer for the system temperature, power level, and drive activity. With this device, the users get single-click access to either the UEFI/BIOS immediately when starting up or even the applications within the operating system. The users can configure the functionality of the 6181P-19B3HW71DC device to become any keystroke (up to a maximum of 3 keystrokes) in the operating system or it can be turned off altogether. The terminal has a 19-inch color display. Its PCAP touchscreen can be used to input information. There are 2 Serial ports, 1 Parallel port, and 2 Ethernet ports for communication and 100 GB memory capacity. This terminal operates on 18 to 32 Volts DC input power.

The configuration of the 6181P-19B3HW71DC can be easily done in the UEFI/BIO. The device also comes with a hardware monitor which is an authentic asset that runs on the operating system. It performs the function of helping the users to keep track of the system fan speed and hence the overall machine temperature. The utility is similar to what the users receive when applying third-party programs like the SpeedFan. The users can easily adjust the temperature threshold as allowed by the hardware monitor. The 6181P-19B3HW71DC also comes with a feature known as the watchdog timer which also runs on the operating system. In case of any program error or hardware complication that makes the operating system stall, it is the duty of the watchdog timer to time out and make the system reboot. Just after the system restart, the event log is created because the device had encountered an incorrect shutdown sequence. This feature is highly demanded where the consistent user interface is impossible yet is required to keep the PC up and functioning for both visual and display purposes.
