The 2706-D21J8 Data Liner Message Display by Allen-Bradley is a 2-line data liner message display in the DL5 family. It has 2 lines of display with 16 alphanumeric (uppercase only) characters per line, and an 8KB Electrical Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) which can store up to 387 message blocks. It has 14-segment vacuum fluorescent character types with an approximate viewing distance of 3 meters (10 feet). The 2706-D21J8 has two distinct ports, the parallel and serial port, which cannot be operational at the same time and can be selected for triggering via a configured DIP switch.
