The 2706-E23C16B1 message display supports two-way communications with both PLC's and SLC's. It also has an RS-485 port for file transfer and an RS-232 port for uploading and downloading before. It displays a wide variety of symbols and characters that are still readable even at 25 feet away. It can mount on a panel or in an enclosure with a NEMA Type 12,13 rating and be wired into the control system. The 2706-E23C16B1 has capabilities like embedded variables, message chaining, and data mode selection and it facilitates uploading and downloading files via the DH+ and the Ethernet link. It has an onboard editor, extended ASCII character set support, and a battery-backed real-time clock. It can also create a backup and record the occurrence and sequence of the triggered messages.
