The Allen-Bradley 2706-E23J16 is a Dataliner terminal in Allen-Bradley’s DL40 series of message display terminals. Its screen is a Vacuum Fluorescent Display or VFD with dimensions of 4.4 x 14.4 inches. This VFD screen comes with 2-line configuration that can show as many as 20 characters on each line. It also comes with a parallel port, 16 KB of RAM, and 85 - 265V AC input power. The 2706-E23J16 Message Display is designed for receiving slave addresses, message triggers, and variable data from a PLC or an SLC module. It also communicates with an RS-485 port for transferring files and with an RS-232 port for uploading and downloading files.
