The Allen-Bradley 2706-E23J32B1 Dataliner DL40 Message display is an old display module in Allen-Bradley’s DL40 series. Its successor is a newer generation 2706-LV2R DL40 Plus Message Display. Its VFD screen measures 4.4 x 14.4 inches in area, has a two-line configuration with remote I/O for the text, and it can display a maximum of 20 characters on each line. The 2706-E23J32B1 runs on 85 - 265V AC of input power and it has 32 KB of RAM. The DataLiner features ASCII input and Remote I/O communication ports. The Allen-Bradley 2706-E23J32B1 supports 2-way communications with PLC's and SLC's through its Channel 0 port.
