The Allen-Bradley 2706-E43J32B1 is a PanelView DataLiner DL40 Plus series message display. It consists of a Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) that allows you to show up to 4 lines of text with up to 20 characters in each line. Each 5 x 7 dot matrix character measures 11.3 millimeters and you can use standard or extended ASCII characters. The extended ASCII characters allow you to display text in different languages and Cyrillic characters. You can view the text displayed from as far as 7.62 meters away. The 2706-E43J32B1 two communication ports, namely an RS-232 port and an RS-485 port, and a keyboard can be directly connected to it due to its IBM PC keyboard port.
