2706-LV2R

The Allen-Bradley 2706-LV2R is a DataLiner DL40 plus message display. It is a next-generation message display which replaces the old DataLiner DL40/DL20 series. It has a Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) with a brightness adjustable up to 100%. The 2706**-**LV2R is available in a two-line configuration with remote I/O and can display up to 20 characters per line. It has 128 KB of RAM and 120 to 240 Volts AC input power. The 2706-LV2R message display supports two-way communications with PLC's and SLC's. For communication, it has an RS-484 port for file transfer and RS-232 port for file upload and download. It displays a wide variety of symbols and characters readable from up to 25 feet away. Applications developed for the previous DL40/DL20 series are compatible with DL40 Plus. It has various capabilities such as embedded variables, message chaining, hidden messages, data mode selection, etc.

It supports a real-time clock and RS-232 message triggering. During message editing, it also provides recovery in case of power failure. It has isolated I/O ports and a replaceable battery. It is more reliable than older message displays with its power supply upgrade and integral fuse. It is also lighter and takes up less space compared to the older DL40 series. The 2706-LV2R supports enhanced point-to-point slave message display communication and red, green, or amber message display lights and remote display relay control. The 2706-LV2R message display is highly customizable and ideal for delivering alarms and messages in an industrial environment.
