The Allen-Bradley 2706-LV2S Dataliner Plus Slave Message Display Terminal is a 2-line message display terminal from the Dataliner (DL40) Plus message display family that is designed to receive messages from host devices, which can be Dataliner DL40 Plus Master Displays, PanelView Terminals, Programmable controllers, or a personal computer. This device is designed for a panel mounting configuration in an industrial environment, and it is also ideal for NEMA Type 4, 4X, 12, and 13 (IP65/IP54) rated enclosure installations. The 2706-LV2S Terminal is similar to the standard DL40 Plus Terminals in many ways, except it does not support keyboard configuration, remote I/O ports, buttons on the front panel, or LED indicators. The 2706-LV2S Terminal can communicate with host devices via a built-in RS-232/RS-485 Serial communication interface, and it offers adjustable baud rates that can be configured with a DIP switch.
