The 2706-NX6 display screen is a product from Allen-Bradley and it is part of the DL40 Plus series of PanelView DataLiner Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) screens which display 2 lines, and 20 characters. This DataLiner display screen operates on an input power range of 85 to 264 Volts AC, and it features parallel ports for both RS-232 and RS-485 communication. It also comes with an ASCII input type and 3 sets of characters (Cyrillic (ISO 8859-1), English, and International). The Allen-Bradley 2706-NX6 PanelView DataLiner display screen features the NEMA 12, 13 enclosure type, and it allows for the reading of messages on the display screen from about 240 feet away, making it suitable for use in industries and factories. This DataLiner has a slave communication function and it comes in both 20 and 40-character count units. Unlike other parts, the 2706-NX6 DataLiner display screen has no storage memory.
Several hardware advancements make the 2706-NX6 DL40 PLUS display screen unique with a wide range of special features. They allow for power supply upgrades, and they provide an integral fuse that is common for the installation of 120 Volts AC or 240 Volts AC. The 2706-NX6 display screen is also compatible with several electronic modules. This DL40 display screen also has an increased panel mount stud length (from 0.5 to 0.625 inches), and a reduced panel depth (from 4.53 to 3 inches). They also come with reduced weight (from 7.3 to 3.7 pounds) for the 2-line message displays and from 8.9 to 4.9 pounds for the 4-line message displays. The Allen-Bradley 2706-NX6 DataLiner message display screen offers all the necessary hardware as well as the customizations that are required to enhance the effective display of information in an industrial setting.
