The 2707-M485P3X Module is a DTAM Micro Operator Interface Module that is part of the 2707 module product line produced by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. This module can be used with the Allen-Bradley PLC-5 and SLC-500 processors and it also enables the operators and supervisors to process, create, or modify new data or information directly on the plant floor without needing to be near the main processor or CPU. This module comes with an RS-485 port, which enables connectivity with the rest of the equipment in the system. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 2707-M485P3X DTAM Micro Operator Interface Module enables the users to type in functions, modify blocks of data, and link multiple screens to send and receive data from more than 10 addresses at the same time. Through its eight function keys, the users can change displays and modify application processes. This module comes shipped with a user manual, a switch cover, and mounting nuts. It has one LED indicator that shows when the module is active.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 2707-M485P3X DTAM Micro Operator Interface Module comes with a non-removable power connector that is located on the bottom of the unit and with a six-position DIP switch that enables the users to select specific operation settings. The display of the module is composed of 2 lines and 20 characters and it uses high contrast LCD technology with LED backlighting. The keypad has its keys are grouped in different colors for different functions, for example, the blue keys are for operator responses, the dark gray keys are for display and format control, and the light gray keys are for numeric entry. The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 2707-M485P3X DTAM Micro Operator Interface Module port can operate at a distance of 1219 meters maximum from its connected devices if it is using a link coupler. It has an input voltage range of 18 to 30 Volts DC and an input current of 200 milliamps maximum.
