The 2707-MVH232 is an Allen-Bradley MicroView 2707 Series Message Display and Operator Interface made by Rockwell Automation. It supports a 2-line, yellow-green LED backlight based liquid crystal display with a maximum character count of 16 characters. The 2707-MVH232’s display dimensions measure 0.58 x 2.35 inches in width and length, respectively.

The 2707-MVH232’s input type is based on the American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII). The ASCII code involves the numerical representation of a character, like ‘a’ or ‘@’ and an action of some kind. The communication port of the 2707-MVH232 MicroView operator interface module can be found on the top edge of the gadget. It is an 8-pin mini-DIN connector with the configuration of an RS-232 channel as well as a 24V DC power supply connection. The RS-232 communication port allows the 2707-MVH232 to connect with an IBM-compatible PC as well as a MicroLogix controller. The communications port and power port stand side-by-side on the product. The power connector has a 2-conductor power jack which can be used for supplying the MicroView 2707-MVH232 with power.
