The 2707-V40P1 manufactured by Allen Bradley is made up of a group of compact controllers in an industrial control system that provide improved features comprising a faster high-speed counter, higher input/output (I/0) configuration, pulse train output, and a range of alternative communication methods. It comes with features including online editing, an LCD  (Liquid Crystal Display) panel, and Ethernet or IP (Internet Protocol) functionality. The configuration of an Ethernet network or the changing of file addresses is greatly simplified by this module’s LCD panel which also includes a backlight for clearer input. Other functions of this module include extending the LVD data wiring that will help in supporting the entire file, and easy customization the original equipment manufacturer logo.

The Allen Bradley 2707-V40P1 comes with four lines, 20-character Vacuum Fluorescent Display and a 40K memory, as well as a 20 to 30 Volt DC input power. The 2707-V40P1 is designed to use a 120 to 240 Volt AC supply, offering up to 6 channels at 100 kHz with its high-speed input counters which allows a user to expand application services by incorporating numerous expansion modules with an embedded discrete I/O combination.

The 2707-V40P1 has good transmission capabilities as a result of its integrated protocol support for a range of enhanced communication types via its two inbuilt serial ports, such as the RS232/RS485 and the non-isolated RS232 port.
