The 2707-V40P1 manufactured by Allen Bradley is made up of a group of compact controllers in an industrial control system that provide improved features comprising a faster high-speed counter, higher input/output (I/0) configuration, pulse train output, and a range of alternative communication methods. It comes with features including online editing, an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel, and Ethernet or IP (Internet Protocol) functionality. The configuration of an Ethernet network or the changing of file addresses is greatly simplified by this module’s LCD panel which also includes a backlight for clearer input. Other functions of this module include extending the LVD data wiring that will help in supporting the entire file, and easy customization the original equipment manufacturer logo.
The Allen Bradley 2707-V40P1 comes with four lines, 20-character Vacuum Fluorescent Display and a 40K memory, as well as a 20 to 30 Volt DC input power. It is available in a display size of 1.3 x 3.9 inches and contains helpful features such as an ASCII input and RS-232/RS-485 communication ports that allow it to interface with other programmable controller’s product lines. Additionally, its displays are ideal for broadband communication over the factory and warehouse floor. It also has a point-access function that offers a unique means to monitor and revise data files in SLC AND PLC controllers.
This module’s embedded LCD enables a user to control, monitor, and view controller conditions, keeping track over binary and integer elements. It offers an intuitive user interface accompanied by graphics for a messaging system; created by a top manufacturer of information solutions and industrial automation power, the 2707-V40P1 is designed for operators who need scalable, reliable, and high-performance networking alternatives to function with industrial-level applications. The Allen Bradley 2707-V40P1 is idyllic for demanding manipulation applications such as the handling of materials, general industrial machinery, pharmaceutical, clutch, and position control applications, food and beverage applications, and packaging and printing.
This module’s outstanding flexibility can be attributed in part to its large selection of I/O configurations and its included twelve (12) direct fast 24 Volt Direct Current(DC) inputs. It also has twelve (12) relay outputs that can be used with both the direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) loads and eight (8) digital normal 24 Volt DC inputs.
The 2707-V40P1 is designed to use a 120 to 240 Volt AC supply, offering up to 6 channels at 100 kHz with its high-speed input counters which allows a user to expand application services by incorporating numerous expansion modules with an embedded discrete I/O combination.
The 2707-V40P1 has good transmission capabilities as a result of its integrated protocol support for a range of enhanced communication types via its two inbuilt serial ports, such as the RS232/RS485 and the non-isolated RS232 port.
