The 2707-V40P2D DTAM Plus DeviceNet operator interface terminal is part of Series B of the 2707 interface terminal product line that is made by Allen-Bradley. This operator interface terminal has been designed to integrate different Allen-Bradley PLCs and SLCs together that use the DeviceNet network as their main communication network and it includes a VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) screen that enables supervisors to revise important information about the application process. The display screen has the space to display 4 lines and 20 characters of text at a time at a ratio of 10:1. This interface also comes with a keypad that includes function keys, numeric keys, and visualization options for the module. The Allen-Bradley  2707-V40P2D DTAM Plus DeviceNet operator interface terminal operates with a voltage range of 85 to 265 Volts AC or 100 to 300 Volts DC with a frequency range of 47 to 440 Hertz. It has a current of 300 milliamps maximum and a fuse rating of 0.5 Amps.

The Allen-Bradley 2707-V40P2D DTAM Plus DeviceNet operator interface terminal ports have an isolation rating of 500 Volts each. The keypad of the module has an operation force rating of 340 G and an operational life of 1 million cycles. The DeviceNet connection provided by the Allen-Bradley 2707-V40P2D DTAM Plus DeviceNet operator interface terminal has a baud rate of 125, 250, and 500 Kilobytes per second, 64 nodes maximum, and a terminator resistor of 121 ohms.
