Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation manufactures the 2711-K10C16L1 PanelView standard operator terminal, as part of PanelView 1000 series. It has an input power rating of 24 Volts DC, with a 10.1-inch multi-color display. This standard terminal has a keypad input type for entering information and commands to the machine as well as 256 KB of memory for the storage of data, files, and applications. The 2711-K10C16L1 PanelView 1000 standard terminal is housed inside a NEMA 12, 13, or 4x enclosure types. Generally, the Allen-Bradley PanelView 1000 standard graphics terminals feature a resolution of 640 x 480 and a 10-inch color or grayscale flat-screen display.

If the PanelView 1000 standard terminal does not start up correctly, be sure to check the power supply first. Also, ensure that the terminal is receiving the right voltage amount and that the connection and wiring to the primary source of power are correct and valid. Additionally, the positive and negative ends of the DC power source should be attached to the right terminals. The 2711-K10C16L1 PanelView 1000 standard terminal has status indicators located at the back. The green COMM indicator shows communication while the red FAULT indicator shows system faults. When the terminal starts up, the COMM indicator remains on while the FAULT indicator is off. If the FAULT indicator flashes a few times during startup, there is no cause for alarm. Nevertheless, if both the COMM and FAULT indicators off, the power cable should be checked.
