The 2711-K10C9 terminal is an Allen-Bradley manufactured PanelView display terminal. It belongs to the 1000 series of display terminals manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is extensively used as an interface with machinery. The display is a 10.4-inch panel with an integrated keypad. The keypad has different keys, including navigational keys, control keys, and functional keys. For internal communication, the 2711-K10C9 terminal uses the RS-233 port. The display needs an AC input power of 100 to 240 Volts AC. This display panel has a colored graphic screen and features a memory capacity of 256 KB.

The 2711-K10C9 require installation to an enclosure rated NEMA Type 12/13. It features an embedded keypad assembly which may be actuated by the operator to initiate control, and respond to events. This keypad assembly is made of Sixteen (16) function keys from F1 to F16, along a numeric and navigation key set. This operator terminal exchanges data with PLC5, SLC500, MixroLogix, CompactLogix and ControlLogix controllers via the embedded RS232 communication port that supports DH85 communication protocol. The secondary RS232 is exclusively used for communication to an alarm and events printer for logging of information.
