For user interaction, this HMI utilizes a membrane keypad consisting of 16 keys, which are tested for durability with a lifespan of approximately 1 million actuations. Backlighting for the display is also a replaceable feature with an operational life of up to 50,000 hours at a stable temperature of 25 °C. In addition, the device includes a battery-backed real-time clock, allowing for secure timekeeping, and the battery can be replaced in the field without special tools.

Memory capacity consists of 310 KB allocated to runtime processes, while storage is offered with 1008 KB. The HMI supports external storage using an ATA memory card, enhancing its data management capabilities. Administrators can configure the unit using the PanelBuilder32 software on a PC, ensuring effective setup.

Networking options include various protocols such as DH-485, DH+, Remote I/O, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, and RS-232. The printer interface operates at a speed of 19.2 Kbps over RS-232 connections.
