It is downloaded with a Human Machine Interface (HMI) application that is custom designed to represent the important measuring and control points of the process as well as relative location of instruments. This operator terminal also provides operational status by displaying alarms and events.
This PanelView 1000 operator terminal has a native configuration menu that allows specification of project file to execute, communication settings as well as display settings.
The grayscale display screen of the 2711-T10G20L1 measures 10.1-inch with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and display size of 211 x 158 mm or 8.3 x 6.2 inches. The screen is made of an Active Matrix Thin-Film Resistor (TFT) with Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCF) Backlight (4 shades of gray) and comes with an analog resistive touchscreen as the operator input interface. The individual touchscreen size is 26 x 30 pixels with a total of 384 (24 columns x 16 rows). It is powered by wiring a voltage supply of 18-32VDC with nominal value of 24VDC.
This operator terminal communicates with partner controllers through the Ethernet communication port and send alarm and events print commands via the embedded RS232 interface.
