The 2711-KC1 has a CRT display, with display format of 24 Rows x 80 Columns (normal size characters) and Character Cell Pixel Format of 8 wide x 10 high. The graphic display is User-configurable and stored in a non-volatile memory. The display intensity of the monitor is adjustable from low to high range adjustment. This adjustment tool is installed at the back of the unit. The screen has an adjustable screen saver from 1-999 minutes. Appropriate configuration of the screen saver contributes to maximized operation lifespan of the display. The CRT display size is 12 inches.
It comes with Sixteen (16) function keys, numeric and navigation buttons located at the device front panel. These buttons serve as the operator interface enabling control of the process and switching of process mimic. The operator terminal keys are designed to operate up to 2 Million actuations.
Install the 2711-KC1 to an enclosure with protection ratings of NEMA 4X (Indoor Use Only), NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. This HMI terminal complies with the UL listed, Industrial Control Equipment (UL 508) and CSA certified, standard 22.2 No. 142.
The 2711-KC1 has an embedded Remote I/O (RIO) communication port and a secondary RS232 interface used for printer communication. The supported RIO speeds are 57.6/115.2/230.4 kilobaud with maximum cable distances of 10,000 ft. for 57.6 kilobaud, 5,000 ft. for 115.2 kilobaud and 2,500 ft. for 230.4 kilobaud.
