The Allen-Bradley 2711-TA4 interface module is a member of the PanelView 1200 series that is designed to allow operators to interface effectively with machines. This module has a high-resolution amber-colored 10.1-inch display screen. The module can connect to other devices using remote I/O communication. Commands and data can be inputted via the 2711-TA4’s touchscreen. Data and files can be stored in the RAM and this module runs on 90-130V AC power. There is a durable NEMA 4X enclosure. The 2711-TA4’s touchscreen has a matrix of 120 touch cells (10 across by 12 high). It offers communications through remote I/O and an RS-232 printer port. The module runs on an input voltage of 90-264V AC at 47-63 Hz with a remote I/O baud rate of 57.6/115.2/230.4 kilobaud and an RS-232 port baud rate of 300-19.2 kilobaud. The 2711-TA4 terminal provides an easy, fast, and low-cost interface for a PLC system. The module can be used for the replacements for the old control panels. The monochrome display comes with a black background color and an amber foreground color. The RS-232 port on the 2711-TA4 is connected directly to the development system and used for uploading and downloading applications. The RS-232 port is also used to connect to the printer.
