The Allen-Bradley 2711-T14C9 is a PanelView 1400 standard operator terminal. This operator terminals features the largest colored display screen among the entire PanelView Standard Operator terminal product line.
The 2711-T14C9 has a 14-inch colored display screen, compatible for implementing high level of process mimic information. It also supports a colored representation of the connected process which may be used to represent the operating state of instruments such as transmitters, switches; devices such as pumps and valves; electrical components including pilot lamps. It may also be used to indicate process areas and type of materials contained in a closed vessel such as a tank or pipe.
The 2711-T14C9 is touch operated enabled by the 384 touch cells embedded within the display screen. This touch cells enables direct interaction with runtime objects to trigger the necessary control action.
The 2711-T14C9 is provided with a Data Highway Plus (DH+) communication interface which supports networked topology. It can be utilized to communicate with one or more controllers and other devices using a 3-wire cable over extended distance. It has an RS232 printer port for documentation of process alarm and events.
