The Allen-Bradley 1400ELKC15 display panel is a 14-inch keypad PanelView 1400E operator panel. It is manufactured by Allen-Bradley and it is used as a color display for industrial processes that are controlled by a PLC. The 1400ELKC15 panel features a ControlNet network protocol for communicating with the applications that are run in the machine system where it is installed. The module is also easy to connect other devices to because the users do not need to have any additional hardware to make use of the ControlNet connection. The module also comes with a stud mounting option and it also features the NEMA 4X enclosure type, meaning that it should be kept indoors.

The Allen-Bradley 1400ELKC15 display panel comes with a keyboard and a barcode reader which are connected to the terminal’s keyboard port. To find the keyboard port on a “straight-out-of-the-box” module, inspect it for a white label and remove it to expose the connecting point for connecting all the additional accessories. The 1400ELKC15 also features a full numeric keypad with special keys and it comes with up to 21 function keys that are ready for the users to program. The keys can be programmed so that the module can perform different actions like screen changing and the switching of the digital outputs tuning. The functional keys on the 1400ELKC15 panel are also used for the execution of different tasks with the users positioned on the different control screens. The 1400ELKC15 features different operating voltages including 115 Volts AC voltage at 60 Hertz and 230 Volts AC voltage at 50 Hertz.
