The Allen-Bradley 2711E-K14C6 is a keypad operated PanelView Operator Terminal. This operator terminal is specifically a PanelView 1400E. This terminal has a 14-inch CRT color display and comes with DH+ and remote I/O communications, a stud mount, and a NEMA 4X enclosure (for indoor use only). It can be connected directly to SLC-5/04 and a variety of PLC-5 host controllers over a DH+ network.
The 2711E-K14C6 Keypad Terminal has a numeric keypad, arrow keys (up, down, right, and left), and special keys that include Home, Enter, Backspace, Cancel, Select, Raise, and Lower. It also has 21 function keys that are user-definable. These function keys can be assigned to do tasks such as changing screens or turning PLC input bits on. For each screen created, these keys can be assigned to execute different tasks.

The rated power consumption of the 2711E-K14C6 is rated 60 Watts minimum, and maximum of 100 Watts. It used a built-in battery, designed for 10 years continuous operation, primarily used to retain the internal real-time clock.
