The PanelView 550 series is an obsolete family of Allen Bradley PanelView Standard operator Terminal one of these, the 2711-B5A10, is an AC-powered device which features, dual-input functionality, such as a touchscreen input and a keypad. The keypad on this unit has a numeric keypad and arrow keys, along with its 10-key function keypad, marked F1 through F10. The 2711-B5A10 unit has a 5.5-inch display screen with a resolution of 128 x 64 pixels, ideal for simple machine or process monitoring and control with minimum graphics and equipment to display and animate. It also has an RS232 printer port that is primarily designed for providing alarm list and messages printout.

The terminal’s Keypad and Touch activated screen allows a variety of monitoring and control actions. The Ten (10) Function keys, comprised of F1 to F10, as well as the navigation keys are assignable to different functions and applications. The touch activated screen on the other hand, allows direct interaction to runtime objects embedded onto the screen. Both the touchscreen and keypad interface are expected to operate up to 1 million presses.

The 2711-B5A10 is designed to be operated with an external power supply with input supply range of 85-264V AC along a frequency of 47-63 Hz.
