Allen Bradley’s  2711-B5A5L1 unit is a Panelview of the PanelView 550 Product line. This operator terminal allows a user interface with a machine, through its LCD blue mode monochrome display, with a size 5.5 inches. This unit also contains Function keys from F1 through F10, as well as a keypad for information input. Additionally, this module’s display screen doubles as a touchscreen, for further data input. It does, however, contain an RS-232 (DH-485) Communication Port for alternative communication purposes. This RS-232 (DH-485) port must be paired with a 2711-NC13 communication cable or cables in order to communicate on the given network. This module is a DC powered module, requiring 24 Volts of DC power. Its maximum power consumption is around 12 Watts (0.5 Amps at 24 Volts of DC) and it has an available internal memory of 170 kilobytes. The 2711-B5A5L1 Panelview’s internal backlight can be replaced by the part corresponding to the number 2711-NL1. Its dimensions are approximately 14 x 11 x 8 inches, and it weighs around 6 pounds when shipped. Generally, this Panelview has the series A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H.
