This device is a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) that has both a touchscreen and a keypad for input. The keypad’s dimensions are 7 x 10 x 4 inches (167 x 266 x 106 mm) while the touchscreen dimensions are 6 x 7 x 3 inches (152 x 185 x 82 mm). The 2711-B5A9’s interface screen is a 5.5-inch monochrome LCD with blue pixel graphics for displaying information. The LCD is illuminated by a long-lasting backlight that can be replaced. The replacement part number for this backlight is 2711-NL1. The 2711-B5A9 uses the 2711-NC13 communication cable with these ports to make the HMI connections. This unit is powered using 120V AC power and its internal memory capacity is 170 KB of application runtime memory. The shipping weight for the 2711-B5A9 is about 6 lbs.
