The PanelView 550 Standard Operator terminal with part number 2711-T5A5L1 is a 24VDC powered, DH485 enabled operator terminal that may be used to act as Human Machine Interface (HMI) device, permitting operation of an industrial process via the monochrome display and touch input interface.

The PanelView 550 is a compact, scalable hardware which comes with a built memory of 112Kbytes for Series A to D and 240Kbyes for Series E or later. This internal memory is expandable using ATA memory cards with memory size ranging from 256Kbytes to 32MB memory.
