The discontinued Allen Bradley Panelview 600 2711-B6C10 is an operator terminal that enables the user to interface with their machine. This Human Machine Iinterface (HMI) has a 5-inch Colored graphic display.

Operators are able to control the HMI using the embedded Keypad and Touchscreen to input information and data. This unit is powered using 85-264 VAC power and internal memory allocation amounting to 240 KB non-volatile memory. This unit has an internal backlight which may be replaced with part number of 2711-NL5. The approximate shipping weight and dimensions are 6 lbs. and 14 x 11 x 8 inches respectively.

The embedded DeviceNet communication interface enables the terminal to connect and communicate at device level on a DeviceNet link (at 125k, 250k or 500k baud) using server explicit, client explicit, I/O, or listen only messaging. Compatible devices include Allen-Bradley’s SLC, and ControlLogix controllers and other 3rd party controllers as well. The DeviceNet network supports change-of-state, cyclic, polled, and peer-to-peer messaging for more efficient communication. DeviceNet Listen Only functionality reduces the amount of network traffic and logic required to provide information to the PanelView. There is enhanced troubleshooting on the DeviceNet network. Terminals communicate with a range of devices on the network. PanelView Standard operator interfaces are certified DeviceNet compliant. This compliance guarantees compatibility with other compliant devices.

The 2711-B6C10 is powered by an external voltage supply with range of 85-264 VAC. Along a maximum power consumption of 60VA. It is equipped with a combination input interfaces which are the Touch and keypad interface. The keypad assembly is installed on the PanelView’s front panel, made of stainless-steel domed membrane and designed to operate up to 2 Million actuations. The keypad assembly has Ten (10) Function keys, from F1 to F10, directional arrows, numerical keypad and confirmation buttons. Additionally, the Touchscreen interface is made of 128 cells designed for up to 1 million presses.
