The discontinued Allen Bradley Panelview 600 2711-B6C14 is an operator terminal that enables the user to interface with their machine. This HMI has a 5 in. Color Display. The user is able to control the HMI using the Keypad/Touchscreen to input information and data. This unit is powered using 85-264 VAC power. This unit has the following internal memory: 240 KB. If applicable this unit has an internal backlight replacement part number of 2711-NL5. The approximate shipping weight and dimensions are 6 lbs. and 14 x 11 x 8 in. The Modbus is a non-Rockwell Automation control architecture. Modbus protocol links Modicon Programmable Controllers and devices emulating Modicon Programmable Controllers within multiple different applications. Modbus is a half-duplex, master-slave communications protocol. PanelView Modbus terminals work as the master on a network, communicating with up to 255 slave devices. Panelview reads and writes coils and registers as if it was a Modicon controller. Every device on a Modbus communication link acts, while using the same coils and registers of a Modicon Programmable Controller. Modbus lets a host read and write coils/registers and acquire diagnostic information. The Modbus terminals have a Modbus communication port and a RS-232 Printer port.
