The PanelView 600 Standard operator terminal with catalog number 2711-B6C20L1 is a legacy Human Machine Interface (HMI) device used to implement centralized factory-floor level monitoring and control of a process or machines.

The 2711-B6C20L1 is a DC powered HMI device with embedded Ethernet capability. Appropriate DC supply voltage range is 18-32VDC with nominal voltage supply of 24VDC. The embedded Ethernet communication port supports linear topology however, connection to an inner redundant ring may be achieved with the use of an Allen-Bradley ETAP device or any Ethernet switch that supports redundant Ethernet network.

Ethernet I/P interface is a user-friendly communication protocol. This protocol does not require specialty difficult to configure hardware to establish communication. It uses standard CAT5 or CAT6 cable and may be used with commercial or industrial grade Ethernet switches for connecting to a network.

This visualization screen features a colored graphic display, which supports implementation of colored display and animation. The display screen is equipped with a Halogen lit backlight with an expected lifespan of 50,000 hr 1/2 life at 25 °C (77 °F).

The embedded Touch sensitive screen and Keypad assembly allows flexible operating options. The keypad functions keys, F1 to F10, support local and global assignments. With local assignments, the functions assigned to a function key varies depending on the current displayed screen while a global assignment retains the same configured function regardless of the screen.
