The Allen-Bradley 2711-K620L1 is a PanelView 600 operator terminal. This operator terminal is a visualization product of Rockwell Automation that is more popularly known as a Human Machine Interface (HMI) device. This HMI device has a compact assembly which primarily features an embedded Ethernet Communication port, RS232 printer interface, 24VDC rated power, colored graphic screen and keypad operation.

The entire PanelView standard Operator Terminal including the 2711-K6C20L1 are compatible for use in industrial environments and different industries such as Power generation, Manufacturing, Water and Waste Water, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas, Cement, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Pulp and Paper, Mining, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and other industries.

The 2711-K6C20L1 features a 5-inch colored screen with VGA resolution of 320 x 234 pixels and display area of 15 x 86 mm (4.54 x 3.4 in.). This HMI is installed with a backlight that is engineered to operate up to 50,000 hr. This internal backlight is field replaceable.

The 2711-K6C20L1 comes with a Ten (10) function keys, numeric keys, navigational and cursor buttons. Each keys perform specific functions, such as navigation, value modifications and implementation of commands. Only the function keys are assignable to multiple functions and accept local and global assignments.

The 2711-K6C20L1 features an Ethernet protocol which is a user-friendly protocol and primarily used in the enterprise level. Additionally, it comes with an RS232 Printer interface for printing alarms and events.

The ideal ambient temperature surrounding the terminal must be between 0… 55 °C (32…131 °F). Maintain spaces for provision to access the back panel of the terminal for wiring, maintenance, installing a memory card and troubleshooting.

he user is able to control the HMI using the Keypad to input information and data. This unit is powered using 18-32 VDC power. This unit has 240 KB non-volatile memory and 190KB Random Access Memory (RAM). It has an internal backlight that is field replaceable.

The 2711-K6C20L1 comes with an EtherNet/IP communication interface. This communication protocol is an open industrial network that supports real time I/O messaging, as well as message exchange. This network uses off-the-shelf Ethernet communication chips and physical media. The EtherNet/IP screen lets you display and modify some of the EtherNet/IP communication settings for a PanelView terminal. These parameters are downloaded with the application.
