The Allen-Bradley 2711-NL5 backlight is a replacement backlight for the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Panelview 600 series operator terminals. This replacement backlight has been manufactured as part of the Panelview 600 series as one of the spare parts for the terminals from this series. The 2711-NL5 replacement backlight should only be used in Series C Panelview 600 operator terminals. This spare part helps to reduce industrial waste because it allows a terminal to have a faulty backlight replaced instead of the whole terminal needing to be replaced. The 2711-NL5 replacement backlight can operate at 32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit.

The 2711-NL5 is a Panelview 60 series-C terminal manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is a Panelview terminal with a 5-inch backlit screen and RS-232 (DH-485) and RS-232 Printer communication inputs. The replacement backlight lamp for this series (keypad and keypad/touch input) uses Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL) tubes to illuminate the display. The 2711-NL5 is supported with a keypad or keypad and touchscreen function for input. This series of standard terminals features graphics in color, grayscale, and monochrome displays. This electronic operator is available in a variety of different sizes and is configured to meet certain applications and requirements. Also, this model is KC-certified with replaceable components.

The 2711-NL5 terminal can communicate with PLC and SLC controllers through EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet, DH-485, DH+, and remote I/O networks, or through serial communication. The 2711-NL5 has an enclosure rating of NEMA Type 12, 13, 4X (indoor use only), IEC IP54, IP65.

Its dimensions are 14 x 11 x 8 in. and it weighs 6 lbs. It has a 240KB memory and runs with a DC input ranging from 18-32V DC. The environmental operating temperature varies from 0-55 °C (32-131 °F) with a storage temperature from -20-85 °C (-4-185 °F).
